MethodFactory seeks a talented Microsoft Enterprise Server (MES) Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in an IT consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be expected to architect and deliver complex enterprise solutions that employ SharePoint, Commerce Server and/or BizTalk.

How you'll spend your day...
- Working with clients and prospective clients during the envisioning phase to craft optimal technology solutions. This includes applying technical knowledge to pre-sales situations.
- Providing project level technical oversight and ensuring successful project delivery. This includes providing technical consulting expertise and leadership to internal project teams and clients.
- Working hands-on with the project teams to ensure successful project delivery. This includes providing coaching, guidance and leadership to colleagues, and sharing knowledge and experience through formal and informal knowledge management initiatives.
- Working in concert with the rest of the MethodFactory team to advance the MES Practice. This includes staying abreast of emerging trends, promoting industry best practices and participating in Microsoft's Technology Adoption Programs.
What we're looking for...
- Senior level technical experience: The successful candidate will have a practical working knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Server stack and their application to real-world business problems in large-scale customer environments. Such technologies include SharePoint, Commerce Server, BizTalk, Forefront, SQL Server, etc.
- Senior level project experience: The successful candidate will have broad project-based knowledge of the Microsoft Enterprise Server stack gained through genuine involvement in the scoping, design and implementation of multiple solutions on large scale, complex, multi-technology projects for enterprise customers. They will be able to explain the complexities and implications of migration issues and testing
- Senior level communication experience: The successful candidate will be able to articulate the business benefits and be able to prioritize these benefits amongst other decisions and options facing our clients. They will be able to express themselves well in writing, as well as demonstrating proficiency in both formal and informal presentations along with excellent consultative, workshop and facilitation skills. They will be able to engage effectively with a wide variety of individuals, both within a project team, and especially with the client at all levels of seniority. In customer delivery, they may be expected to engage with senior management in a business-context as well as interacting with - and often leading - a team of technical staff.
- Senior level team experience: The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues. They will have experience with industry standard project management tools and methodologies and will demonstrate the ability to be self-driven and organized.
